Scientific Program
Welcome to the ASCEPT 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting
On behalf of the ASCEPT Program Committee, I invite you to attend the ASCEPT 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting to be held at the RACV City Club, Melbourne from 1 to 4 December 2013. This meeting is the major gathering of academics and researchers in the fields of clinical and experimental pharmacology and clinical and experimental toxicology across Australia and New Zealand. The theme for the meeting is Breaking down the silos – academia, industry and the government collaboratively developing medicines.
We believe this important meeting will be an excellent opportunity to showcase the world class research undertaken by ASCEPT members. Importantly, this meeting offers the opportunity to network with colleagues and other leading international and national scientists and academics at both social and scientific activities. A key feature of the meeting is the chance for early career researchers and research students to present their research findings in poster and oral presentations sessions. Annual awards and prizes from ASCEPT will also be presented at this meeting.
The program of plenary lectures, symposia and workshops, oral presentations and posters will be scientifically stimulating and lead to new collaborations and research opportunities.
Our international guests include Dr Joga Gobburu, Dr Masamitsu Iimo and Dr John Warren.
We look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne.
