ASCEPT and APSA 2020 Student Registration Grants
In recognition of the valuable contribution of our student members, both ASCEPT and APSA are providing registration grants to support student attendance at the 2020 ASCEPT-APSA Joint Scientific Virtual Meeting. To be eligible for a Student Registration Grant, students MUST be financial members of ASCEPT or APSA prior to the early bird registration deadline, Monday 26 October 2020 and have been selected to present an oral or poster communication at the Annual Scientific Meeting. The level of support will be determined by the ASCEPT Executive AGM and APSA AGM and will be paid post meeting once attendance is confirmed.
To be eligible for a Student Registration Grant, an applicant:
- must be a currently enrolled undergraduate and/or HDR student (e.g. Honours, Masters, or PhD)
- must be presenting an oral or ePoster communication at the meeting
- must be a financial student member of ASCEPT or APSA
- must indicate that they wish to be considered for a Student Registration Grant when submitting their abstract via the online submission site
To indicate that you wish to be considered for a Student Registration Grant when submitting your abstract via the online submission site, you must tick the box beside the statement, “I wish to apply for a xx student registration grant” after entering your contact details.
*A student member is only eligible for a Student Registration Grant from either ASCEPT or APSA. If a student is a member of both association, they will be required to indicate from which association they would like to apply for a Student Registration Grant.
You must also provide a letter of support from your Supervisor confirming your enrolment status and how you will benefit from attendance at the meeting.
For students enrolled part time please also include some explanatory information with respect to enrolment status and opportunities for support for meeting attendance in the letter of support.
Part time students may be funded at the discretion of the ASCEPT Board or APSA Council.
Retrospective applications will not be considered and no dual reimbursements if a student is a member of both societies.
