ASCEPT 2023 Student Travel Grant
In recognition of the valuable contribution of ASCEPT student members, Student Travel Grant support will be available for the 2023 meeting. The level of support will be determined by the ASCEPT Executive, and these details will be updated by Friday 17 November 2023.
In recognition of the valuable contribution of ASCEPT student members, Student Travel Grant support will be available for the 2023 meeting. The level of support will be determined by the ASCEPT Executive, and these details will be updated by Friday 17 November 2023.
To be eligible for a Student Travel Grant, students MUST be financial members of ASCEPT prior to the early bird registration deadline and have been selected to present an oral or poster at the ASCEPT Conference .
To be eligible for a Student Travel Grant, an applicant:
- must be a currently enrolled undergraduate and/or HDR student (e.g. Honours, Masters, or PhD) and hold a current ASCEPT Graduate Student membership
- must be presenting an oral or poster communication at the conference
- must be a financial student member of ASCEPT prior to the early bird registration deadline, Monday 16 October
- must indicate that they wish to be considered for a Student Travel Grant when submitting their abstract via the online submission site
To indicate that you wish to be considered for a Student Travel Grant when submitting your abstract via the online submission site, you must tick the box beside the statement, “I wish to apply for an ASCEPT Student Travel Grant” after entering your contact details.
You must also upload a letter of support from your supervisor / Head of Department / Head of School or equivalent, confirming your enrolment status and how you will benefit from attendance at the conference.
For students enrolled part time please also include some explanatory information with respect to enrolment status and opportunities for support for meeting attendance in the letter of support.
Part time students may be funded at the discretion of the ASCEPT Board.
Retrospective applications will not be considered.
